After intensive research, we have developed a new generation of environment-friendly sealing materials. The new product range of compressed sheet gasket materials - BAU 2000, BAGL 3000, BACF 4000, BAX 5000 and BAM 6000 - provide unparalleled performance under the most strenuous conditions. Increasing environmental demands to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, have led us to make wide-spread improvements in the composition and manufacturing process of asbestos-free compressed fibre gasket materials. Based on carefully selected constituents, the materials in our new product range are free of N-nitrosamines and fibres hazardous to human health. Additionally, when applied under high temperatures, there is no significant emission of hazardous degradation by-products. Apart from better sealability, resulting in a significant decrease in escaping gases, the new products also provide outstanding compressibility, recovery, resistance to creeping relaxation and chemical resistance and comply to the requirements of the German standard, DIN 28091-2.
